We do our best not to log any unnecessary information about our users, but you should be aware of the following:
 

1. Due to the nature of practically all web servers, your IP address is logged when it accesses the site. We recommend using a VPN (eg, NordVPN, Express VPN, or similar) if this is a concern for you. We are not sponsored by any VPN service, this is just good advice for anyone on the web.
    
2. At the time of sign-up, to prevent annoying bots and bogus users, we do require an email address which may or may not require verification.  If this is a concern for you, we recommend not using your actual email address, but rather create a "burner" address with Yahoo, Proton, Gmail, etc., and using that email address to verify your account and receive occasional updates.  We will not send you ads, nor sell your email address to 3rd parties.
    
3. We will not utilize "tracking" information to serve ads, but we may collect basic usage of the site by means of cookies solely for the purposes of visitor analytics.  If this is a concern for you, we recommend you access the site in "private" or "incognito" mode in your browser.
    
4. For all web sites, including this one, your password should be unique and difficult to guess or brute-force.  The use of a password manager like Bitwarden or Lastpass (neither are sponsors) is recommended.
